Use a Bubble Map: Thresher Shark

It's a shark! Yes, it's a Pacific Thresher Shark, caught off the coast of California by Bob (friend of Mrs. S-S). This shark, weighing in at 120-pounds provided the perfect opportunity for a discussion and writing activity for us. You can click on the picture to enlarge it!

Using a Bubble Map (thinking map) we discussed some facts of the Thresher Shark. From this, the children will create their own sentences.

Note: For an intermediate step prior to writing sentences, create a Tree Map.

To use the Bubble Map below, click on it to enlarge it then print.
