Shipley Nature Center is a beautiful place to visit and is just across the way in Huntington Beach. During the fall and winter months, the Monarch butterflies come to 'overwinter' in Huntington Central Park and in August and September, you may seem them still ovipositing (laying eggs) on the Milkweed found at Shipley's Monarch Waystation! So, come on out and enjoy family time, walk through the beautiful gardens, and visit with nature!
